Solomon has been working in investment banking since the 1980s, and began working for Goldman Sachs in 1999. As a hobby, he began to DJ in 2017, performing at clubs and music festivals in New York, Miami, and the Bahamas along with big names like Paul Oakenfold and David Guetta. His cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop" was released in 2018, shortly before he became the CEO of Goldman Sachs, and it reached the Top 40 of Billboard's dance singles chart.
