Biography
Taking their name from a Dodge engine, Slant 6 emerged on the Washington DC scene in the summer of 1992. Made up of Myra Power (Lucky 13), Christina Billotte (Autoclave), and Marge Marshall, they went into the studio and produced a three song single for Dischord in 1993, and toured the U.S. for much of that year. Their first album, Soda Pop Rip Off, was recorded in Washington DC, and was produced by longtime Dischord mainstay Don Zientara and Fugazi guitarist Ian MacKaye. A second album, Inzombia, and a split 7- inch single were released in 1995. After breaking up in 1995, Myra Power played with Tarot Bolero, and Marge Marshall started her own fashion line, called Babyteeth. ~ Chris True, Rovi
