San Diego native Craig Goldy is an American guitarist known for his work with Dio, David Lee Roth, Giuffria, Rough Cutt, and Budgie, among many others. Before joining Dio in the late 1980s, Goldy was the guitarist with Rough Cutt, Project Driver, and popular melodic rockers Giuffria. In addition to his work with Dio -- he appeared on Dream Evil (1987), Magica (2000), and Master of the Moon (2004) -- he has released a handful of solo albums, and in 2016 he collaborated with drummer Vinny Appice, bassist Sean McNabb, and vocalist Chas West on the eponymous LP Resurrection Kings. The following year saw Goldy team up with former Giuffria vocalist David Glen Eisley for the LP Blood, Guts and Games, which was released via Frontiers. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
