Biography
Neiked was the pseudonym for Swedish producer and songwriter Victor Rådström before it blossomed into a mainstream/D.I.Y. pop-making collective. Known initially for his work with Swedish pop stars Miriam Bryant and Elin Bergman, Rådström branched out on his own in 2015 with the single "Cowboy." A mix of organic pop and electronica, it featured vocals from fellow Swede Thomas Stenström. The follow-up, "Sand & Lead," appeared in early 2016, with a third single, "Sexual," appearing a few months later. Featuring the vocal talents of London-based Dyo, "Sexual" peaked at number 32 on the Swedish singles chart, while also placing in the Irish, Norwegian, and U.K. charts. In 2017 the group dropped a new single, "Call Me," which featured the vocal talents of Mimi. Throughout 2018, Neiked issued a handful of singles including "Old School Love," a collaboration with Shy Nodi, and "How Did I Find You" with Miriam Bryant. The bulk of the collective's early singles were collated into 2019's full-length Best of Hard Drive. In 2021 Neiked collaborated with Mae Muller and Polo G on the track "Better Days," which cracked the Billboard 200 as well as charting in the U.K. ~ Rich Wilson & James Christopher Monger, Rovi
