				Biography
			    
			    
						Swedish mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenberg attended the National College of Operatic Art in Stockholm, graduating in 1984. He teachers included Kerstin Meyer, Erik Sædén, and Joy Mammen. Hallenberg has performed at the major opera houses in Europe, and has appeared at music festivals and concerts in Europe and the United States. She has collaborated with such conductors as Fabio Biondi, Ivor Bolton, Frans Brüggen, William Christie, John Eliot Gardiner, Roy Goodman, Riccardo Muti, Jonathan Nott, Marc Minkowski, Christophe Rousset, and many others, in performances of operas by Vivaldi, Handel, Gluck, Mozart, and Rossini.
