Jungle is an avant jazz supergroup collaborative "project" rather than a band. It includes Polish multi-instrumentalist Mat Walerian on saxophones and woodwinds and Americans Matthew Shipp on piano and keyboards and Hamid Drake on drums and percussion. The name was chosen for a particular concert in Poland's Okuden Concert Series.
