Biography
The alias of Sussex, England-born tech-house and drum'n'bass producer James Rockhill, Kove began producing music in 2006. By 2009 he'd moved to London to produce for an electro-pop band. From there, he continued to hone his skills and started to produce higher tempo dance music in 2010. Exploring and creating drum'n'bass tracks, he soon caught the attention of Viper Recordings boss Futurebound and subsequently released "Stellar/Breach" for the label in 2012. The follow-up single, "Iodine/Open Ground," was issued through Andy C's Program label in October 2012. In late 2013, he signed to Chase Status' MTA and remixed their single "Lost & Not Found" before releasing his EP, Measures. The track "Love for You" from the EP was featured heavily on BBC Radio 1Xtra and garnered national and commercial praise. He was soon remixing the likes of Bastille and John Newman, and July 2014 saw his most successful release to date with the song "Way We Were," which reached the Top 30 on the U.K. singles chart. The Murmurations EP appeared on MTA that October. In 2015, Kove remixed singles by Ella Eyre, Tough Love, and others, and released a single called "Hurts" (featuring Moko) that July. ~ Aneet Nijjar, Rovi
