Biography
Georgia-born trombonist Dave Nelson has been working in New York City since the mid-'90s in the idioms of pop/rock, creative jazz, and modern composition; his résumé includes work with artists ranging from David Byrne to Sufjan Stevens, the National, Jónsi, Martha Wainwright, John Adams, the International Contemporary Ensemble, and Athens, Georgia creative jazzers Kenosha Kid.
