Biography
Flatpicking guitarist Andy Falco started out playing lead guitar and singing with the Northeast-based Water Street Blues Band; he stayed with them until 1999. He worked as lead guitarist and singer with Buddy Merriam Backroads from 2000 to 2004 while basing himself in New York. In 2004, he moved to Nashville and became a member of Alecia Nugent's band, appearing on her album A Little Girl...a Big Four-Lane; he also performed with the Greencards. In 2007, he became a member of the Infamous Stringdusters. He has also worked with artists including Malibu Storm, the Dixie Bee-Liners, Vanessa Carlton, David Amram, Levon Helm, Vanessa-Mae, Jimmy Vivino, and Carl Jackson, and appeared on such albums as Highway of Dreams by Bradley Walker, Darren Nicholson by Darren Nicholson, Garrett Grass-Gospel 2005 by Jeremy and Glen Garrett, and Celebration of Life: Musicians Against Childhood Cancer.
