Born in Brixton in 1992, LD had more than his fair share of trouble growing up, including multiple stretches in prison; he was even temporarily banned from performing as a musician. Originally going by the name Scribz, his issues with his performing identity led him to adopt a masked identity, through which he became known as LD. After 67 began gaining some traction, LD made it his mission to rise above his circumstances and take the music business more seriously; this was put in jeopardy after another short prison sentence in late 2017. However, LD used that time to reflect upon his career, emerging with clearer goals in mind. The following year he released his debut solo album, The Masked One, which featured Dizzee Rascal on "Stepped In" as well as spots from K Trap, Tiggs da Author, and Young Adz. ~ Liam Martin, Rovi
