Bass, bandleader. One-time member of Miles Davis band, this electric bassist has formed a group that mixes fusion, funk, rock and jazz. His debut release includes guest stints by George Clinton, Mavis Staples, Stevie Wonder and Larry Dunn, has some jazz influence but is aimed at pop and R&B markets/audiences. ~ Ron Wynn, Rovi
