Biography
Tomorrow's World is the pairing of Air's Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Lou Hayter, keyboardist for New Young Pony Club. Together they make a sound that is the perfect combination of their two main bands, adding a touch of sassy bounce to Air's sophisticated reserve, and some restraint to New Young Pony Club's rambunctious energy. The duo met in 2010 when Dunckel was on a break from working with Air, and after hearing Hayter's band the New Sins and liking what he heard, asked her to work with him. The first single to come from their collaboration, the Suicide-meets-Shangri-La's "So Long My Love," was released in September of 2012 by Naïve Records. The duo's self-titled debut, which expanded on the sounds they explored on that single, arrived in April 2013. ~ Tim Sendra, Rovi
