Steve James is an American producer who brings EDM production techniques to yearning, ecstatic pop tunes. Originally from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the teenaged producer started out by remixing hits from pop and dance artists such as ZHU and Clean Bandit. His take on ZHU's "Faded" received millions of streams as well as airplay, and he relocated to Los Angeles in 2015. By the end of the year, he had landed a production credit on Justin Bieber's Purpose, toured with the Chainsmokers, and released his debut solo single, "Renaissance," on Ultra Records.
