Scottish electronic producer and DJ KC Lights spins bright euphoric house and upbeat techno like Disclosure, Gorgon City, and Matoma. Born Kerr Slaven in Rothesay, Isle of Bute, he is also a multi-instrumentalist, first picking up the saxophone at the age of six. He graduated university with a music degree in 2012 and shifted his focus to songwriting. His initial releases arrived on the Cheap Thrills label, including the early track "Impressions," which was released on a Cheap Thrills compilation in 2013. His breakthrough singles arrived in 2015. "Lose It All" and "No No No" both received support from BBC1's Annie Mac and Pete Tong.
