Biography
Swedish producer/DJ Adrian Lux writes bright dance-pop tunes that celebrate the majesty and splendor of youth. His tracks often feature shimmering synths, airy guitar melodies, and yearning vocals, with lyrics often focusing on restless feelings and the desire for love. Lux's debut single, "Strawberry," was released in 2008 by La Vida Locash, and was followed by "Can't Sleep" in 2009. He remixed songs by Basement Jaxx and Deborah Cox, and attracted attention from prominent EDM DJs such as Avicii and Axwell. Lux's single "Teenage Crime," featuring vocals by Linnéa Martinsson (Lune), was released in 2010 and charted in several countries. In 2011, Lux remixed songs by Korn, Britney Spears, and Roxette, in addition to releasing the singles "Alive" (featuring the Good Natured) and "Boy" (with Rebecca Fiona). Lux's self-titled debut full-length was released by Ultra Records in 2012, with the club update Some Remixed and Some Extended following shortly after. Ultra also released Lux's Make Out EP in 2014, and "Torn Apart" appeared on Axwell's Axtone label in 2015. Following the self-released 2016 single "Alicia," "All Aloud" was issued by Spinnin' Records' SOURCE imprint in 2017. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
