Born in 1998 in Ramos Mejía, Buenos Aires province, Gonzalo Julián Conde found an early love for electronic music and took up music theory at the age of 14 to augment his production skills. However, it was his interest in the Argentinian rap battle circuit that would prove the catalyst for his career: under the name Bizarrap Combos, Julián Conde soon racked up thousands of views online with compilations of local rap battles. Through these videos, Biza became close friends with the next generation of Argentinian talent; by the end of 2017, the producer had worked on official remixes for Duki, Paulo Londra, Khea, and Ecko.
In 2018, Biza used these strong connections to build a platform of his own. Titled the BZRP Freestyle Sessions, the producer's new video series saw him invite many of his close collaborators to perform over his productions, with the artists working together in a more impromptu format. Beginning in 2018 with sessions alongside Kodigo, Sony, and Lit Killah, Biza's series was rebranded the BZRP Music Sessions in early 2019, and began to attract rising stars like Ecko, Trueno, and Frijo. It was an appearance from Nicki Nicole that brought Bizarrap's career to the global level: for the 13th volume of the show, the two crafted an R&B-laced track that garnered over six million views in just two days, and eventually landed at number three on the Argentinian charts. Empowered by this success, Biza moved through the end of 2019 with charting appearances from Alemán (number 46), Trueno (number 13), and John C (number 17) before finding similar successes alongside Dani, C.R.O, Zaramay, and Cazzu early the following year. Alongside his video series, Bizarrap began releasing stand-alone singles -- after "Flexin" with Lit Killah charted at number 11, the producer found his first number one hit, "Mamichula," alongside close friends Nicki Nicole and Trueno.
With his reputation as a South American hitmaker established, Biza continued to find even greater success. Nathy Peluso's appearance on the 36th volume of Music Sessions charted in four different countries and earned a triple-platinum certification, while the 38th session earned Bizarrap and maverick rapper L-Gante a number one chart position. He closed out the year with some of his most high-profile collabs to date, working with the likes of Nicky Jam (which became another number one hit), Anuel AA, Snow Tha Product, and Eladio Carrión. He continued his prolific run with 2022 sessions featuring Residente, Paulo Londra, and Villano Antillano. BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 52 (with Quevedo) topped charts in a dozen countries, and even landed at number 82 on the Billboard Hot 100.
